Accommodation of Foreign
Languages
Because we work with organizations all over the
world, we have the capability of providing our 360
feedback Services in any language. Currently CustoMetrix,
our online survey management system, is available in
English, French, Spanish (several dialects), German,
Portuguese, Dutch, and Swedish. We also support multiple
Asian languages. We will continue to expand our language
offerings to accommodate our growth and expansion into
international markets.

Pre-Assessment Training
Assessment Plus offers Pre-Assessment Training in a
classroom setting, accommodating up to 30 individuals in
each training session. This training focuses on
educating the participants about the value of the 360
feedback process, addresses how best to select raters,
familiarizes the participants with the survey and sets
expectations for how they will use this information to
improve their effectiveness. During this session, we
stress the importance of sharing with others what is
learned from the feedback, as well as developing and
implementing a practical action plan based on the
feedback received.
Survey Development
Assessment Plus will help develop the specific
behavioral items used in the customized employee survey.
We have over 20 years of assessment experience and serve
as a valuable resource in the development of a
well-designed survey. We utilize our robust data bank of
over 2000 behavioral items and competencies as a
foundation from which to build your survey. Our goal is
to ensure a meaningful, concise survey that results in
actionable information.
Customization
At Assessment Plus, we specialize in the
customization of the 360 feedback process, including the
specific behavioral items used in the survey, the
qualitative section allowing for raters’ written
comments, the rater groups, and the instructions for
participants and raters.
We have the ability to completely tailor the 360
feedback assessments to best meet your needs. Many of
our clients utilize core items for ALL participants and
raters, while utilizing a subset of other items for
specific rater groups, job levels, functions, etc. This
enables Assessment Plus to collect the most relevant

Survey Administration and
Data Collection
Assessment Plus has developed an easy-to-use,
web-based employee survey system that manages all
aspects of the 360 feedback process in an automated
manner. Our online system allows participants and raters
the flexibility and convenience of 24-hour access to
complete assessments, nominate raters, send reminder
e-mails, and monitor response rates. If your initiative
requires paper surveys, we work with you to ensure a
streamlined paper administration process. Both types of
administrations enable Assessment Plus to ensure data
integrity and confidentiality while protecting the
anonymity of the raters.
Action Planning
Assessment Plus can collaborate with the participants
to develop a meaningful, practical action plan. This
plan is based on the 360 feedback they received and is
considered to be one of the most important elements of
your initiative. We believe that by identifying the
specific strengths the participant plans to leverage
and/or the areas that need improvement, the participants
are well on their way to using the feedback to make
positive change. Our project managers and coaches work
together to ensure that the action plans developed are
specific, actionable, practical and sustainable.
Customized Development
Resource Guides
Assessment Plus offers the design and development of
Developmental Resource Guides which are customized for
your organization. This guide provides developmental
suggestions for the behavioral survey items and factors,
offering specific information about how to address
targeted areas. This guide suggests assignments as well
as relevant books and articles (with links to Amazon).
This resource guide can be developed and administered
via the Internet or in hard copy form. By providing this
valuable tool, participants not only receive crucial
feedback, but also have access to numerous suggestions
for how to address the issues that may have emerged from
the feedback.
Coaching
To receive the most benefit from a 360 feedback
process, we strongly suggest the participant be given
the opportunity to meet with a feedback coach. Our
professional coaches are thoroughly experienced in
anticipating and handling reactions to the 360 degree
results, helping the individuals interpret the results
and digest this information, working with the
participants to develop their customized action plan and
educating them about the follow-up process. The
individual feedback coaching has been referred to as the
most valuable part of the 360 feedback process by many
of our clients. We also provide ongoing coaching
services, in which we establish a relationship with the
leader and support them in their change initiatives.
This engagement ranges from three months to two years,
depending on your specific needs.
Measuring Improvement
Our research has shown that follow-up is crucial to
improving the perceptions of raters over time and to
sustaining positive changes. We strongly encourage
participants to use the information they receive from
the raters as a tool to grow and develop. To do this, it
is essential that the participants communicate with
their raters, discuss what they’ve learned from this
feedback and convey what changes they plan to make. This
follow-up ensures that the feedback is not forgotten
once the participants get caught up in the demands of
their jobs.
To encourage participants to use this information to
become a more effective leader, we recommend a
customized follow-up feedback process. This process
holds participants accountable for making changes to
their behavior and then gives them the opportunity to
gauge how much more effective they have become over a
six to nine month period. Approximately six months after
they receive their initial feedback results, we will
provide them with a customized, one-page survey
containing only the items they selected for improvement
(correlating with their action plan). They will solicit
feedback from their raters and submit the completed
surveys via the Internet to Assessment Plus. We will
then provide a 2-3 page report, containing data that
shows whether this person did indeed improve in the
targeted areas. This is a great way to assess whether a
person is truly using this information as intended, to
improve their effectiveness as a leader. It also
provides your organization with valuable data relating
to the effectiveness of the 360 feedback process,
validating that it is a worthwhile investment.
